Social service agencies (SSAs) typically have a limited budget and stringent procedures when allocating resources for their various projects. So when it comes to adopting or upgrading technology solutions to optimize the agency’s service, they tend to be pushed to the back of the agenda.
There are several benefits of having a well-designed organisational website. It is a means to gain credibility online, spread your cause to a wider audience and facilitate some of your agency’s programmes such as fundraising and volunteer registration.
If you as a social service agency wish to set up a website, you can now apply for a Tech-and-GO! grant from the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). This funding awards SSAs with subsidies to adopt technology that will enhance their digital processes from Project Consultancy to a list of Pre-scoped IT Solutions.
For pre-scoped IT solutions such as building a website, SSAs can get funding up to 80%, capped at $30,000.

- Agency is a NCSS member or funded by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)

- Pick a suitable solution for your agency from a list of pre-scoped solutions.
- Get a quotation from the pre-approved vendor
- Submit relevant documents to NCSS within the open application periods
