PSG-JR is a dedicated initiative under the Productivity Solutions Grant that supports companies in engaging pre-approved job redesign consultants. The scheme focuses on restructuring roles, workflows, and job scopes to improve productivity, resilience, and long-term workforce sustainability.
By redesigning jobs strategically, companies can achieve stronger business outcomes such as higher efficiency, better role clarity, and greater operational flexibility. At the same time, employees benefit from improved job quality through upskilling opportunities, enriched roles, and higher retention.
The PSG-JR scheme is administered by the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), which acts as the Programme Manager to ensure structured delivery and quality assurance.
Eligibility
Criteria
The applicant must be a company registered and incorporated in Singapore, with active business operations locally.
A minimum of three local employees who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents must be employed at the time of application.
No payments made or contracts signed with a job redesign consultant prior to receiving PSG-JR approval.
The project must be carried out by a consultant selected from the official list of pre-approved job redesign providers.
Each application is assessed individually based on project viability, expected impact, and alignment with transformation objectives.
Application Process
- Select and engage a job redesign consultant from the official list of pre-approved providers.
- Work with the consultant to identify key pain points, business objectives, roles for redesign, and the expected costs and benefits.
- Submit the grant application through the Business Grants Portal using a valid CorpPass account.
- Prepare a detailed proposal outlining the project scope, deliverables, timeline, cost breakdown, and required supporting documents.
- Await approval and the issuance of the Letter of Offer before formally starting the project.
- Execute the approved job redesign project in collaboration with the consultant within the one-year project period.
- Upon completion, submit the final report and reimbursement claim with all required evidence and deliverables.

Recent and Upcoming Enhancements
Under the Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package announced in Budget 2025, job redesign support is set to be strengthened. Enhancements include a higher funding cap beyond the current SGD 30,000, with co-funding support potentially increasing to up to 70 percent for SMEs and non-SMEs, subject to the specific enhancement. The scope of support will also be broadened beyond consultancy services to cover areas such as training for line managers and HR teams, change management initiatives, and the possible adoption of tools or technology to support job redesign efforts.
Funding Mode
Support is provided on a reimbursement basis. Companies will pay for the consultancy services upfront and submit a claim after the approved project has been completed and delivered.
Stacking with SFEC
After receiving support under PSG-JR, eligible companies may use the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit to offset part of their out-of-pocket costs, reducing the overall financial burden of the project.
