Overview
Tech-and-GO! (TNG) is a funding initiative by the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) that helps Social Service Agencies (SSAs) adopt digital solutions quickly and affordably. The scheme supports both pre-scoped IT solutions and custom digital projects that enhance productivity, strengthen service delivery, and improve organisational capability. Through TNG, SSAs can access essential technologies such as case management systems, HR and finance tools, volunteer management platforms, and cybersecurity solutions at significantly reduced cost, enabling them to focus more resources on client impact.

Eligibility
Criteria
Be an NCSS-member Social Service Agency or a Social Service Agency funded by MSF or NCSS
Use the funded solution primarily for social service operations in Singapore
Maintain good governance standing, including active ACRA status and compliance with regulatory requirements
Meet any specific conditions depending on the solution type (e.g., IT readiness, cybersecurity policies, financial capability to sustain post-project operations)
Application Process
Identify a Suitable Solution
Select a pre-scoped solution from the TNG solutions list or define the scope for a custom digital project.Prepare the Required Documentation
Gather proposal details, vendor quotations, budgets, and supporting documents showing organisational need and readiness.Submit Application via NCSS Portal
Apply through the official Tech-and-GO! Application Portal with all required information and attachments.Evaluation and Approval

Funding levels vary depending on solution type, but many pre-scoped solutions receive high support rates, significantly lowering the cost burden for SSAs.
TNG also offers Digital Consultancy to help agencies improve digital readiness and plan long-term transformation.
Agencies may access complementary programmes such as NCSS’s Shared Services, TechUP initiative, and Digital Academy courses.

What types of IT solutions are covered under Tech-and-GO!?

Can non-NCSS member organisations apply for TNG?

Can an SSA submit multiple applications in a year?
Yes. Agencies may submit multiple applications as long as each project addresses a distinct need and meets the funding criteria.
Is training included under TNG funding?
Yes. User training, onboarding, and solution familiarisation are typically funded as part of the implementation cost to ensure smooth adoption.
