Fault Tolerant Storage System
Efusion uses a fast, secure and reliable storage system to store your Website and Email data. Our storage is based on a RAID system. This gives your site high performance, scalability and immunity from disk failure. Besides backing up server contents and data locally, a remote backup server will also perform backups on all user contents and data every 24 hours. Standby servers will be deployed immediately upon critical situtations (For example: Harddisk failure). Essential preventive measures include: IP based firewall settings, anti-virus program, hacker intrusion system, system hardening configurations, disabling of security threatening services like Telnet and SSH access. Our servers and networks are kept in the perfect environment to keep them up and running 24/7. This includes temperature control, raised floors, state-of-the-art smoke detection, fire suppression systems, video camera surveillance and security breach alarms. And in the unlikely event of a power failure, our servers are backed up with diesel powered generators.
