Case Study (Beauty Bistro)

Beauty Bistro is the newest addition to our e-commerce portfolio. This online shop offers handpicked beauty essentials from Japan, Korea, France, Taiwan and Europe. Not a stranger to ecommerce, Beauty Bistro has been operating their online shop for a few years now. Functionality-wise, there’s actually nothing wrong with their old website. However, the client felt the need to inject some novelty and a bit more personality into it. In other words, an aesthetic overhaul was in order.

Needless to say, the new theme of their website is something that most girls can immediately identify with – pink, fun, and modern. We stuck to similar colour schemes and brought in new graphic elements to give the site that little “oomph” it needed.

Web design aside, we also added new functionalities to give the Beauty Bistro customers a “total shopping experience”. The newly incorporated features now allow customers to earn rewards points and redeem items without shelling a buck. What’s more, customers will also be offered items at a special price once their existing purchase reaches a certain amount.
